How do I fit in to the many ministries at Second Baptist Church.
Ministry placement is a personal journey rather than a bureaucratic process. The beginning point for our old system was a nominating committee or church council looking at the church's organizational chart with a ton of blanks and saying, “Here are the holes we have – who can we stick in those holes?” The beginning point for our new system is to look at a our church attender and say, “Let's figure out what your passion and gifts are, and see which ministries would be the best fit for the unique way God has created you.”
